Jacob Bank is the founder and CEO of Relay.app, a platform that enables users to build AI agents that actually work—connecting seamlessly to 100+ tools and designed with transparency, control, and trust in mind. His mission is to make AI agents useful, understandable, and safe for everyday use by business teams of all sizes.

Jacob began his career as a PhD student in the AI Lab at Stanford, researching multi-agent systems and behavioral economics with Yoav Shoham and Dan Ariely. He left academia to co-found Timeful, a groundbreaking AI-powered calendar app that helped users schedule tasks, habits, and goals. Timeful was acquired by Google in 2015, where Jacob went on to lead product development for some of Google’s most impactful tools, including Gmail, Calendar, Chat, and the Workspace Developer Platform.

At Google, Jacob served as Director of Product Management, driving the integration of AI into Google Workspace and spearheading innovative productivity features. In 2021, he left to launch Relay.app, combining his technical expertise and product vision to empower anyone to build custom AI agents without writing code.

Known for sharing honest, actionable insights into the evolving world of AI, Jacob regularly posts agent demos, product updates, and lessons learned from the frontlines of AI development.
